Okay, I'm not hiding the fact that I am in quite the pissy mood. There are several reasons for this, so while I was trying to sort through those reasons I discovered there are a lot of little things that really set me off. So maybe I'm not mad about these things right now, but these things really bother me.
-- Girls that come to class hungover and openly, and loudly, talk about how they are SO hungover. Look, there's nothing wrong with partying in my opinion. Sometimes a hangover happens, I understand that. I'm not mad at you because you partied and now have a hangover. I think you're annoying because you came to an 11am Calculus III class solely to complain about the repercussions of the fun you had last night. Plus, our Asian professor already hates Americans, you aren't helping. Man up until you get back to the sorority house.
-- People that think they're way better than you because they're majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Sciences. You might be smart, granted, but you have no social skills. Personally, I'd rather be well rounded, but hey, if you're cool with talking to a sock puppet for the rest of your life, that's your deal. But stop looking down on everyone else just because your mom said you were the most special.
-- Stereotypical sorority girls that hate everyone but their sisters. I have no problems with sororities. I think that they work really well for some people. What I'm not a fan of is when sorority girls decide that the only good life is the life in their sorority. Up until Rush, you weren't in a sorority and you probably had friends. So what makes you think that now since you pay $3000 a semester to have a new set of friends that you have to be a total bitch to everyone else? Especially if the sorority you're in now wasn't even your first pref. I feel like there are probably successful, nice, awesome people that aren't in your sorority (or partner fraternity). So get off your high horse.
I started this earlier today and left, I'll finish and re-post another time. Now, there is something much more pressing on my mind.
