Just a Matter of Time

Ahh, my favorite song at the moment- Just a Matter of Time. Thank you Randy Rogers Band. Its kind of been on repeat for two days. But I have several unrelated, and some related, things to say.

I am so incredibly lucky to have the friends that I have. Yesterday I got to spend some time having a well needed talk with someone I absolutely consider my mentor. Before this past week, I would never had said that. This person was the last person I would have expected myself to run to for advice, spiritually and worldly, because I just thought that we weren't going to be able to connect. (Don't get me wrong, I never thought that she couldn't give great advice. Just the whole connection issue.) But she has been the only person to tell me the absolute truth without either making me feel like I was stupid or trying to make me do something. And furthermore, she didn't try to sugar coat things. I think that a lot of my friends have either been too nice or too mean. And the last person I would have expected turned out to fit just right. It was exactly what I needed. Cody told me today that I looked radiant. My reply was to attribute it to the fact that this is the first time I've been hopeful and happy. And that can be attributed to Becca's encouragement. <3

**But I feel I should add that Ryan has been a really wonderful friend too. As well as Cassy, and Kristina. I'm just really lucky to have these people in my life.**

I've realized that some of the things I thought I needed just turned out to be wants. So, as of now, I'm prioritizing my life: 1)God 2)School 3)Myself 4)My perfectly wonderful friends

I just found out that I'm officially a junior next semester, so that's exciting. So that means that I have to apply for the 4+1 Master's program like next week so that I can start taking the duel credit classes. Hopefully I'll be able to take the CAD duel credit class next semester, which will be my first 7xxx class. I'm excited, the big worry is getting in it. It's a popular class, so I'll have to stalk Access so I can get a spot. But nevertheless, I'm anxious to be doing this. I've also become aware that I'm getting my minor in Mathematics. Its no extra classes, just substituting two upper level math class in for two physics ones that I would've had to take. So its definitely a win situation. Linear Algebra and Discrete Math. I've heard good things about them, so I'm excited. And finally, I'm making two other substitutions in order to specialize in Entrepreneurship. Instead I'll just substitute two upper level Mechanical classes for two Engineering Management classes.

But now, now its time to have funnnn.. <3

Love Always.
